when you file bankruptcy and a mortgage is in...

...the list can the mortgage co, still file foreclosure after? the bankruptcy is over? even when they did not respond to the bankruptcy lawyer.
I,m concerned with not only having a bankrupcy on credit report, but now a forclosure also?
