Default Submitted an offer on a foreclosure....?

I submitted an offer on a house and it has taken over a week to hear anything back on whether it was accepted or not. My real estate agent went back to look at the listing and discovered that minutes after he'd gotten off the phone with the listing agent, they dropped the price to the amount I was offering. He called them to see what was going on, and the listing agent told him that my offer was denied and they were only accepting cash offers now because they didn't want to deal with financing. I want the house because I would have instant equity after I purchased it. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I obviously don't have 60k just laying around. I do have a credit card for 20 k and some cash, but not enough to offer what they're asking. Help!

Find yourself a different house, you don't have the resources for this one.

Depending on how much equity you would instantly get in this home, you could always offer more than the list price and therefore making it worth dealing with financing to the seller.
