her house from foreclosure...does it work? A friend of mine is facing foreclosure on her house for the 2nd time since last October. The 1st time, family helped her out of it. The 2nd NES came in January. In May, she and her BF filed Chapter 13 BK and it stayed the foreclosure.

But, they are $18,700 in arrears and the mortgage is $153,000 and change. Her BF had lost his job but now has another job getting paid less so I don't see how they can pay the mortgage plus the arrears in a 3 to 5 year repayment plan and still keep their house.

Yesterday, 4 Sheriff's deputies showed up at her house. She won't tell me why. I'm sure she's embarassed and I'd like to support her, but she thinks she's going to be able to keep her house since filing Chapter 13. Is this possible? She is in Colorado.
Why would the Sheriff's deputies show up? Can they evict her even though the FC is temporarily stayed?
