having illness in the family shortly after i purchase the home cause me to leave my job. when i was able to start looking for employment again, the whole foreclosure process was near the end, so i filed chapter 13, thinking I could find a company to help negotiate on my behalf to get the interest reduced and lower payment which started at 2,013 to 2,468,and put the arrearage at the end of the loan, so i can have a fresh start. lender attorney went back to court before I even missed a total of 3 mos. to asked for permission to go through with sheriff sale, I was given a continous to be current on all three payments by July 17th, or stay will be lifted. that i will not be able to do. I thought after i filed i was going to get at least 30 days, before my payment started, which would give me time have at least one mortgage payment put aside.
