What should I do about waiting for a Loan...
...Modification with Saxon Mortgage? Waiting over 3 months already!? I sent all necessary paper work to Saxon in November of 2008. I have called every 2 weeks to get an update but every time I call my "case worker" will not call back. I have spoken to 3 supervisors who assured me that I would get a phone call with in 72 hours, each time she still never called. I have no idea what is happening b/c no one can see my files except my case worker who does not seem to exist.I have never been late or missed a payment but is that what I need to do? Should I just stop paying every month? What should I do, I have 2 kids and NO more $!!!!

If there truly is a hardship paying full amount would be difficult, I believe the investors on your loan will look at payment history, and if your payments are on time why would they modify and take the loss in interest payments.

Also if after 3 months there is no answer for your loan mod, ask to have your file escalated.
