Court documents [To view links in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. Your post count is 0 momentarily.] reveal that on March 25, 2009 Morton Daniel Bohn a CPA in Oregon was indicted on 12 counts for Bank Fraud, Making False Statements in Loan Applications and Money Laundering.
Amongst other things Bohn is accused of falsely representing in a refinance loan application to Countrywide that in 2002 he earned $77,012 when in fact it was materially less than that and in fact he had previously filed told the IRS that his adjusted gross income in 2002 was only $7,556. At all relevant times, Bohn was a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the Oregon Board of Accountancy.
Then again Bohn applied for a construction loan from Silver Falls Bank to build a home at 271 Muirfield Avenue SE, Salem, Oregon. In this application he stated that his 2007 income was $137,200 when, in fact, he had submitted tax returns to the IRS showing his annual income was $91,681. As a result Silver Falls Bank granted him a loan of $480,000. Again during this time Bohn was a licensed CPA and professional tax preparer.
Bohn was due to be arraigned on April 1, 2009.
