If this has happened to you we can help you also. To view links in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. Your post count is 0 momentarily. we have helped many homeowners.
My wife and I found and purchased our first home the end of November.* I had officially discharged from the army in October and started my first civilian job working for Comcast as a contractor that same month.* They had promised a particular wage would be made every week and we were approved for a loan because of that particular figure (also including my wife’s wages as well).* During the month of December they began to cut the number of jobs due to the holiday season and we found ourselves in a brand new home unable to pay our mortgage, so i began to look for a new job.* I then began working for RAMCO where basically the same thing happened and within a month and a half I had to find another job working at TruGreen. (during this time my wife’s job was the only steady income we had)* By this point we were behind by 3 months worth of mortgage payments.* We contacted Citimortgage after finding that they have a hardship program and began that process.* We received a form informing us of who our contact person was and it stated that they would be contacting us within 15-20 days which they never did.* We also received documents from their mediator a law firm informing us of the situation as well as their role in the process.* Since receiving this information I now have a job where I am able to pay my mortgage and after calling Citimortgage and trying to make a payment received the runaround with their staff on the phones.* I have also attempted to call the law firm and have on more than one occasion received their voice mail and have left numerous messages.* Within the last week I have finally contacted a representative from Citimortgage to help us (who was not the original person they stated was our rep) and they are currently waiting for information from the law firm.* The past 4+ months have been a giant game of phone tag and run around.** My wife and I are at our wits end with what to do and now we are fastly approaching our foreclosure date.* At this point we just need someone to help us because obviously we aren’t getting ahold of the right people and fear that our house is going to be taken right from under us.* We are very much wanting to keep the home and if possible work out a solution with Citimortgage we are definitely willing to rewrite the loan and extend if we have to we just want to keep our home. Our situation has changed.* I am now working a full time permanent job where I am earning double the wages I was making at the time we bought the house.* My wife is still working at the same job.* We are also receiving money from the VA (because I was in the army) that is helping us financially.* Our mortgage company is Citimortgage.
