Question The quest for a new identity

The Kerala landscape is changing like never before and numerous glistening mega apartment complexes and retail spaces are sprouting up like mushrooms in urban areas that are fuelled by the phenomenal flow of investments into this small picturesque state. Almost all the renowned real estate developers have already entered into the real estate sector in Kerala and many others are on the way to making their presence felt.

The Real Estate in Kerala has been given a new identity and a famed address by the real estate developers. Apartments in up market areas are a class apart and the very name of the apartment is known as a prominent landmark in the city. The building construction methodologies and approaches in vogue in the past has completely given way to the high tech concepts and methodologies of modern times.

Almost all the real estate developers are expanding their operations continuously. It is a testimony to the confidence of the general public to the sincere efforts of the realtors and also the phenomenal income generated through the sale of the apartment complexes and built up office spaces. The confidence gained through years of operations in the real estate sector has given them the confidence to foray into constructing massive office complexes, business hotels, malls and even retail spaces.

Kerala, an emerging economic powerhouse, has now become an attractive destination for the investors and entrepreneurs. The Kerala operations of the leading real estate developers are manned by the expatriates and other experienced people with years of exposure to the global standards in building construction in several parts of the globe. The returning Non Resident Indians (NRIs) prefer the high-rise apartment complexes to individual houses.
