Default Lien has been paid off. How do I get it removed by the
title company? My ex-partner and I owned a house in joint tenancy. Thru a lawyer we agreed I would buy out his share over a period of 5 years. I have just made the final payment. Now that payment in full has been given/received/acknoledged how do I go about having the lien removed by the title company so I have clear title ?
