(CA) without title company? We put money together bought a house before marriage under my name only, because I can get a better mortgage rate. After marry, I want to add my spouse name to the house. 1. Can I do it myself without hire title company or attorney? 2. I only have to add my spouse name to title or to both title and deed? 3. If I bring the Grant Claim form and sign it in front of the officer in the record office, is it that mean I don't need to notary the paper first? 4. Do I have to inform mortgage company about the title change? Thanks.
