...car when it comes to insurance? I just bought a car and my mom told me to put it in my name, so I signed the title transfer from the seller and will go to the DMV to finish that. My dad says that since it's in my name that the insurance on it will be higher because I'm a very new driver. I know that the family auto insurance will go up because I'm a new driver, but will having the car title in my name make it even higher?I'm not named on my parent's auto insurance yet, but the car already is.
