vehicle. How do I handle the title, insurance, etc? I am planning on leaving my husband. We have two cars and both are in both of our names. I will be moving to a different state to be closer to my family and get back on my feet. I know that when you move somewhere, you need to change your license and registration to the new area within 30 days. How do I do that if both of our names are on the title of the vehicle I'm driving? Also - how do I get the insurance switched to the new state? Can I do that on my own or should I leave it registered/insured in the state that he is remaining in?
