My name is Mike Dolan and I have been in the loss mitigation industry for the last 12 years and have an expert knowledge of how this all works. I have worked in quite a few loss mitigation departments for lenders and also as a manager.

I then later used those skills to fight for homeowners.

The owner of this forum has asked me to come on board as a moderator of the forum and we are alos collabroating on the traing material that is almost finished. There will be no other manual like it and very select members will be allowed to essentially partner with us and network.

Short sales are very important aspect though because you may start out trying to save the home but end up working a short sale, just be careful in many states it is illegal to do both. I agree with your philosophy on putting saving of homes first. Of course, if after doing one's best saving is impossible, then a short sale or any sale is the next step, barring conflict of interest laws. Then that should be obvious to the owner.
