Hi all. I am new to the forum. I am very interested in starting a career in the loss mitigation field. In my previous life, I was a CPA and worked crazy hours. I am currently a stay-at-home mom who is looking for a part-time income. Are there companies out there needing help with their case loads that hire persons to work from home to do the legwork? From all these sites and what you hear on the news today, the mortgage industry is overloaded with foreclosures and can't keep up. I have seen loss mitigation courses offered, and they suggest starting your own mitigation service, but I would prefer to not have to start up a business from ground zero. I would be more interested in learning the industry and then working as a contracted employee from home for a reputable company that needs the help. Does anyone know if this is even possible?
