Question New Member--Need Info.

Up until recently I was a branch manager for a mortgage co. I've been in the business for 9 years and have processed, originated, underwritten and managed. I've done a few short sales and I found a great resource that lists (and updates regularly) contact info and requirements for approx 30 diff lenders/servicers. I also recently attented a very comprehensive seminar taught by a realtor here in Phoenix that specializes in short sales and has for years. What I need is good training material for loss mitigation options other than short sales. I have looked at a couple of "training" programs including US Loss Mitigations, but after reading posts from this forum, I'm a little bit leary. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Default Suggested Loss Mitigation Training

Sure we do and it happens to be written from loss mitigators. What better source of information than from the guys you are negotiating your workouts with and yes we have a few Liquidation (short sale) negotiators on staff. We will talk a little about short sales and how to get them done but our focus will be on saving homes from foreclosure.

We are looking for a catchy name for our training material any suggestions would be awesome.

Lisannem, would you mind sharing more information on your lender/servicer resource?

Thank you.

Someone posted a list here that was fairly comprehensive, but I will compare the two lists today (if possible) and post the info that I have.

Click on this link: I purchased their AHR quarterly subscription for up to date lender forms and contacts. I considered posting the info, but then thought that it might not be the most ethical thing to do. This source and the list posted on this site are fairly comprehensive , there is some overlap but there are quite a few lenders unique to each list.

Default Loss for Words

Hello Everyone I am new to this site.

For the Loss Mitigator specialist. Can you give me advice on a borrower who will sign over her deed to me for a shortsale. She is 90 days delinquent.

Do I have time to negotiate with the lender for a forebearance agreement.?? I am unable to buy the property myself but I am not sure if I should walk away from the home or try to get a work out from the lender.

Please help!!
