Default What can the holder of a mortgage legally do to...

...stop a mortgagee from removing items before foreclosure? A friend sold their property to someone who couldn't get a loan at the time. The owner funded the loan personally and the mortgagees were given a period of time for which to obtain a loan from a bank and have the mortgage transferred. Its the end of that period now and they did not do it. A notice of foreclosure has been given 20 days, and now the 30 days. They have till the end of the year. Unfortunately we have heard that the person is removing things off the property like the chain link fence, and gate and anything thats not nailed down basically. Is there any type of injunction or anything that can be done to prevent them from damaging the property before they are able to evict him from the property?
