If I am on the deed but not the mortgage of...
...my home, what are my responsibilities in terms of a foreclosure? My partner and I have lived in our home for 10 years. Originally, we were both on the deed and mortgage but the last time we refinanced, we did it her name only because we got the best rate that way. Now we are separating and I'm leaving the home. What are my responsibilities in terms of the mortgage if she goes into foreclosure?
