Default mortgage and tax foreclosure?

My wife and I have had a discharged chapter 7 bankruptcy for two years now in which we gave the house back to the bank and they charged the debt off completely. They never put the deed back in their name. Now the property is going to go into tax foreclosure. How will this foreclosure affect us if indeed it does go back to county and is foreclosed on? Will this type of foreclosure affect our credit? What can we do?
