...charged off can I move back into my home? My home went into foreclosure and up for sheriff's sale in 2008. The sale was stayed in October 2008 and I only found out when my city sent me a letter regarding the condition of the property (it has been vandalized). I called the lawyer for the Wells Fargo and was told the mortgage debt was charged off. Can I now move back into the home since the deed is still in my name? Do I have to pay the debt? I have received no collection letters from Wells Fargo or any collection agency.
