...of foreclosure as I cannot afford my house. I have 2 mortgages,? and do not want to try to hassle selling it, I will make little anyway. I have a first and second mortgage and a sherrifs lien for utilities I could not afford. The ist mortgage is for 88,000 the second for 118, 000 and the lien for 8,000. The house is assessed for 306,000, I could get maybe 235,000 and have to pay a realtor commission so deed in lieu sounds like an answer. Will everyone get paid if I do deed in lieu? do you think the banks will go for it? Thanks in advance for any advice..
