Default How far past due on you're mortgage can u

be before foreclosure?

Typically it is 120 days late. For example:You will get a 30 day late, 60 day late, 90 day late, and then a 120 day late. Usually after the 90 day late you will get notified that the foreclosure proceedings have started. However, some banks are so overloaded it can take upwards of a year to get the forclosure paperwork out!
