My child support payments are to her are to be used
to pay the mortgage. she is in foreclosure? what now? she is in contempt but what happens from here? I filed a contempt order and a court date is setYes she WAS ordered in the decree to do so...that is why I filed the contempt....as I am a broke Father paying His obligation as ordered...I am Pro Se.Thanks for your help

Child support is for the child. NO matter what you pay for your child.

They will foreclose and come after you or her whoever has a job for the difference between what you owe and waht they sell it for. Your credit and hers will be damaged for many years. The nonly choice you have is to allow it or step up and buy her share of the house or go to the bank and buy it from them.
