At 90 days 3 months late a demand statement is sent out with an expiration date of normally 30 days. The demand says pay past due balance or they will start to foreclose. Depends on lender how fast they process foreclosure.

About 90 days late untill you get the NOD(notice of default) then about another month till they set an auction date for your property...auction date is usually another 2 months out

The entire process on average is 6-9 months but depending on the bank 4-12+ months...I have talked with people that have not paid for a year and a half!!
