With 7 out of 8 mortgages current, can someone
please point me to the foreclosure "crisis"? I can't seem to find it.

12.5 percent foreclosure rate with another 25 percent in danger of foreclosure. That's the crisis.At best the foreclosure rate in good times was 1 to 4 percent, generally.Now .... its anyone's guess.
