Default Can a bank legally charge more than the...

...foreclosed price on a mortgage foreclosure deed? I am dealing with a bank in Alabama about some property. The mortgage foreclosure deed stated $30,000. The bank has completed the foreclosure and they do not want to disclose a selling price, they want street value with their own appraiser. If the street value is more can they get that legally? I was told that they could not sell for more than the foreclosure price on the foreclosure deed and any fees incurred for the foreclosure. Could someone please advise what some laws are and how to get this property for the foreclosed amount. Thanks very much for your responses.
