without rental income, but I need help with both mortgages. ? I cannot get any kind of assistance for the depreciation of my home, because I am a responsible home owner. I have paid my mortgage, on-time, every month. However, I am watching my neighbors walk out of their homes, with their kitchen counters and cabinets on their shoulder, because they should have never been given the loan in the first place. All in all, cause my home to depreciate. Where do you find a balance of what is right, what you have to do to survive, and where the ethical line lies? The government will bail out everyone, except the people who have tried to keep their committment. Rambling on like this, I suppose I am a little bitter.

It's a shame how the respect for homeownership has gone down the toilet in recent years. Not being required to put any money down will do that to the mindset of buyers.
