Default Everything gone through with foreclosure, but...

...mortgage underwriters want repairs. Seller will not do them. The sellers already and fixed and electrical problem with the house. The VA Appraisor even appraised it 18,000 more than what we are buying it for. The Mortgage company's underwriters are wanting repairs done to the house and the sellers are not going to do it. We are buying the house for 130K and the VA appraiser is saying 148K .

My questions is , if we switch mortgage companies will the underwriters at another company over look the minimal repairs that need to be done? I know it's not a sure thing, but is it a possibility. It's all cosmetic stuff ( paint , carpet) that needs to be fixed. I Hate this whole process.
We want to go with a VA loan, but if we really have will try for a conventional loan. IT's down to the last days. I am so pissed that this is happening now.
We have already asked for an extension from the sellers for the 29th of this month. 22 days left.
