Default Can someone use a VA loan to refinance a

possible foreclosure; just denied modification.? After more than a year and a half I was denied a loan modification after doing everything asked of me including senting documentation over and over. I've made trial payments as requested for a year. Now being denied, I must come up with a large amount of cash within 30 days, continue with the old payments and because it is an adjustable interest loan and the interest will increase in the April 2011. the house itself is truly upside down and my credit is destroyed. I do not want to lose my home eventhough it's no longer an investment, but a place for my family to live.
