Default In retrospect, was the Bush decision to...

...bail out Fannie Mae, Freddy Mac and AIG a mistake? The taxpayer is now on the hook for all this money and will continue to drive our deficits and national debt higher in the future.Should he have done this, and if not, what would have happened?
