Default If a house is in pre-foreclosure, will a bank

allow you to pay the default amt and assume loan if u r approved? Instead of letting house go into full foreclosure and go to auction

possibly - if the mortgage is an assumable mortgage. you should contact the bank directly to work out options. they often will appreciate an offer if it means they do not have to go through the expensive legal ramifications a foreclosure brings. good luck!
