The real question is, "Who made Congress loosen up the rules so people who never should have had a loan got one? Answer: Carter and Clinton.

Who handed out the loans to people who couldn't afford them? Place your blame there, not with politicians. No lender was forced to make a risky loan. It was their own greed that caused this.
