Yes, every member of the democratic congress should be truly ashamed! The democrats, after all, are in control of the lawmaking, but that's news you would rather have swept under the rug, huh? Blame it on Bush...Blame it on Bush...it's a tired chant that lefty-liberals like to squeal every chance they get. But the majority know that it's congress that are really to blame for the downturn in the economy. And where are they? Your friend, Pelosi, sent them home for vacation.

Isn't this what the Republicans are so AGAINST - government interference??? How can they justify doing this if they are so against 'big government'???

I despise the GOP, almost as much as I despise it when people blame the opposing political party for economic factors that go way beyond the control of one political party or another. We blame the GOP for every bad thing in the world, and they blame the slight Dem majority in Congress for every bad thing in the world. It's a pissing contest. Retarded.

yep... don't forget N. Korea backing out on Bush's "successful negotiations" and the UBER-mess in Pakistan, where Osama is hiding...

How about McCain's son being on the audit committee of the failed Silver State Bank? We'll see how well the GOP dodges that!

Once upon a time my political opponents honored me as possessing the fabulous intellectual and economic power by which I created a worldwide depression all by myself.Herbert Hoover
