Client signs a work agreement and makes their first posting? Is the posting the mortgage payment that's put into trust?? I'm confused by this. Is it really necessary???

your post is confusing, there are no mortgage payments allowed to be made while a loan is in foreclosure. If a payment is made it is not applied but put into a suspense account.
