i have be off work for a least 3 months for the past 3 years with no money and my husband is disabled i am back to work and have sent them 2,793 dollars in the last 3 weeks they said i was a little ove 6,000.00 to get back on track we are to have a pre trail hearing on the 17 of this month I ask if i could pay 2 payments a ,month for 6 months to get back in good standings or and the late payments to the end of my loan but have heard nothing from them i don\'t have the money to pay for a lawyer to take to this hearing i would just rather put the money on my loan anyway I hope you can help, Beneficial is foreclosing, we To view links in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. If you don't have a job they most likely will not allow you to modify your loan because they will say you can not afford the modified payment either. If you lost your job for 3 months but now you have a new job then you may qualify. You have to be able to afford the new modified payment.

I agree with previous poster. You need to be able to convince the bank that if they modify you will be able to meet your obligations.

exactly!because they don't have any assurance that you can pay for it.
