[HomecomingsLoanModification]

I have a fixed loan with Homecomings at 11% I tried for a modification and after four months, they sent me a modification that had a $5500 good faith payment and a mortgage payment that is higher. That is not a modification. I have been told by others in your industry that based on todays situation, i can get down into the 6.5 to 7% range. I have bad credit but they have also told me that credit is not an issue in modification. I would like the rate dropped and keep the home. I am also aware that Homecomings just put a 3 month freeze on forclosures, I hope that can work to my advantage. I just received an intent to forclose letter the day the news reported about the freeze. Can someone HELP.
