can I get a mortgage loan with no employment?

I am a stay at home mother/housewife but we are looking at ways to buy our first home. I have excellent credit (760) but obviously unemployed but my spouse has horrible credit (587) and is grossing around $80000 per year. Can we get a mortgage loan with me as the main and my husband as the cosigner even tho I don't have income coming in?
