Default my mortgage deal is coming to an end and I am no longer

in work - will I be able to get another mortgage deal? Since getting our first mortgage 2 years a go which was based on both mine and my husband's salaries, I have had twins and decided not to go back to work (cant afford childcare). The plan was to swap around and get a better deal now, but will any other bank want to offer us a mortgage and will it effect swapping deals if we stay with the same bank? Should we even to tell our current mortgage holder that I am no longer working? thank you xI live in the UK. Our mortgage is for 31 years but our deal is only for 2 years after that the mortgage reverts to the standard variable rate which means our payments will go up. I hope that's right anyway I'm not sure I understand it all very well.
