mortgage companies name? Unfortunately my brother passed away & was not found for about 2 weeks. Anyway a bio clean company came in to clean the house. The house was damaged then we receive a check from the insurnace company with his name & the mortgage companies name.Anyway the house prior to this event needs repairs beyond the mortgage & their is really no assets. Anyway we can no complete probrate, which we shoudl never started, due to this check with two names - his which executor can handle & mortgage company.Me mother is executor & think has to deal with the insurance company. Can or should I say send check to mortgage company? Not sure that will satisfy probate. Anyone have experience in this matter?
