Default ATTENTION MORTGAGE BANKERS: Is there such...

...thing as a "collateral swap" on a mortgage? I'm in good standing on my mortgage and have good equity in my house. I want to relocate, but selling is difficult. If I found someone who wanted to swap homes could our mortgages be reassigned to each others homes as collateral? Would the house I moved to have to be valued at the same as my present home or only 20% above my mortgage balance? Does such a thing, or something like this, exist. I don't want to do a Starker Exchange or get a new mortgage. Right now it seems my two options are selling outright or renting each other our homes. Any help??If I can't do a swap I won't get a new mortgage. I'll sell and use the profits to buy another house outright.
