My husband's a temp worker, about to be hired on next month.I am a full time college student, no job, but sometimes sell stuff on ebay.We both have poor credit, some of it due to unemployment issues in years past, and some due to being taken advantage of.With that said, 15000 is not a whole lot. We are looking to move into this house that has been through forclosure and is back at the bank. They've lowered the price dramatically, I've been keeping up on it the price has gone down $10k in the past two months since they've had it back. I wanted to wait until spring, until we would have more money down but now that they just lowered the price again today, I feel like I must try as hard as I can to get the money before this house is gone forever. Zillow.com appraises the house at 87,200.Please, please, anyone have an idea of what I can do to get the money to put in an offer on my dreamhome?@Talk Turkey: I don't have two years. I have done my homework on the property and the taxes are paid up (shown in the logan county archives,) No fixtures are missing. Also, REMax also 'appraised' it at 79k. This is not the point. I need 15-18k to buy this house. I have been looking a while and this is the only one that I like nearly everything about (cheap fixes). And, talking about fixing our credit. We're not dumb. We were naive when our credit was ruined, I've got about a 590

Mostly it's hospital bills from when I was sick with MRSA. The hospital has a program, but even though I was unemployed and living out of my car at that point (6 years ago) they thought that I'd be able to pay a 17k bill. And with husband's credit, he had someone steal credit cards out of his mail box. So he's in for 3k on those as well as hospital bills.I also have another question- I did talk to a broker in town that said that the moment that my husband was hired on,they'd be able to find a mortgage for us. I just wanted to be able to put an offer on sooner. So I don't understand how we'd have to wait two years. I did want to wait until spring, with my ebay stuff and everything we'd have more money for it. But I fear that it will be gone by then. This is why I am asking if anyone has any suggestions. I've looked online for p2p and they want 640 or higher credit scores.
