Can my husband get a mortgage in just his
name even though the house is in both our names? The thing is....my husband has good credit and would be able to get a mortgage on our house (it was bought outright years ago) but I would not be able to. Do mortgage companies give mortgages to just one person on the deed or do both have to apply and have good credit?This is NY state if it matters.fyi, this was MY house and I added him to the title, tyvm.
