Default Could I get a mortgage loan even though I'm

low-income? I'm currently in college and working part-time (20 hours per week), but looking to purchase a foreclosure home. My brother has poor credit and he asked me if I could possibly do this for him, and he would pay the mortgage each month. I've been approved in the past for a mortgage loan, but I don't think they will allow it now being that I don't make much money. I'm only looking for a $50,000 loan. Would it make a difference that I already have renters? I also have really good credit (775) by the way. Although, now it seems that hardly matters with the economy the way it is. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
