Can you get a mortgage with Poor Credit?

I was looking into getting a foreclose home and was wondering if i could still get it if i had poor credit all i really have on my credit is Doctor Bills which ended up making my Credit poor. So is there a way i still could get this home. Or will i end up having to pay alot a month to get a Mortgage?
