two? We have lots of land in a rural area. We built a house a while ago and REGRET it!! It was a starter home and was built poorly. Now that my husband and I both have good jobs we would like to build another home on our land. We really don't want to sale the other home (unless we have to) because we don't want stragers living on our land. We were thinking of renting the old home. How easy is it to get another morgage. We have average credit (like in the 680s)..My husband makes base pay of 75,000/yr, and I make about 50,000/yr. What is the likely hood of getting approved for two mortgages?
