...is repossessed, will that give me bad credit? All my letters and bank statements and council stuff and electoral register stuff is registered there but the mortgage is not in my namei spoke to some friends at work and they seem to think it would give me bad credit. i was confused as to how that would happen since i borrowed no money and the only attachment have to the house is through letters such as gas and electricity that i pay for in my name and bank statements and the like. my name is not on the mortgage at all. i didn't borrow any money from any bank or lender to get the mortgage either.
