how much deposit needed for a self build...

...mortgage? My family have some land and I want to look into building my own house but do not have the finances for the build so would need a mortgage. Seeing as I have the land already, will I need a deposit to get a mortgage and is an accelorator mortgage the best for this situation.Any self build advice welcome!This is the UK if it makes any difference
