...want to go bankruptcy on his business.? Brother and I cosign the mortgage loan for our home, will his bankruptcy on his small business affect our home? Should i refinance with just me for 30 fixed to remove his name before he go bankruptcy? We currently have a 10 years fixed of $128000, I would hate to lose my home if he go bankruptcy that affect our home. Please advise! Thank you.He's the primary, but we both are responsible if it go default.
