Default Is it set in stone that you have to be at your job...

...for 2 years before getting a mortgage? Is this always the case? I'm just waiting for 2 years to come because I am so ready to get my own condo already. Is it a case by case thing, or is it always 2 years min? Ive only been at my job for 10 months, but have been in my career, same field for 3 years. I have a bachelors degree. I have the down payment, lots of extra savings that just keeps growing by 2,000 monthly, credit scores range from 749 to 786, and only 8k in student loans, no credit card debt, no car debt, etc. I'm afraid prices will go up in over a year and I won't get the deals I'm seeing around now!

I've never heard of that but where I live average houses are $50k or less so most people get a different kind of loan to pay for them.
