Default will bankruptcy stop attempt to start foreclosure on...
...your home? If your behind on loan and foreclosure is threatened will filing bankruptcy for a repayment plan stop any the threat of foreclosure

It did for me. You have to show the court that you will be able to keep making the payments. I also had to get it caught up before everything was discharged.These rules change everyday. So you would be best to contact an attorney. They are the only ones that are able to keep up with the rules
