Can I add to my mortgage?
I got an FHA loan for a home and closed the sale 2 weeks ago (Nov 4, 2010)This home needs approximately $5,000.00 in repairs to the roof. I did not know this until now (yay). Is there any way I can take out this amount of money and then factor it into my mortgage? Or do I have to apply for a separate loan? I have heard of 'rehab loans' such as 203k / 204k loans but they all seem to need to have been applied for BEFORE the home was bought.Please help.
